Benefits of Having Custom-Made Orthotics
Our custom-made orthotics are designed to support and comfort your feet. Here are some of the primary benefits they offer:
Pain Relief:
Orthotics are tailored to alleviate discomfort in the feet by correcting structural issues. This can help with conditions like plantar fasciitis, arthritis, and heel pain by distributing pressure more evenly across the foot.
Support for Foot, Knee, Hip, and Lower Back Problems:
They provide targeted support for common abnormalities such as flat feet or high arches, hip, knee, and lower back concerns by stabilizing the feet which reduces stress on these areas on the body.
Enhanced Balance:
By correcting the alignment of your feet and ankles, orthotics can improve your overall balance, making you less prone to falls, particularly in dynamic or athletic situations.
Shock Absorption:
Orthotics help in absorbing the impact while walking, running, or engaging in other activities, thereby reducing stress on your feet and lower limbs.
Injury Prevention:
By aligning the feet and improving the way they function, orthotics can lower the risk of injuries related to poor foot mechanics, such as stress fractures or tendonitis.
Comfort:
They can also enhance overall foot comfort by accommodating specific foot deformities and providing a cushioning effect, which is particularly beneficial for individuals who spend a lot of time on their feet.
Aside from the many benefits, the primary benefits of custom orthotics include enhancing foot support, aligning the lower limbs, reducing pain, and preventing further injuries by improving the distribution of pressure and realigning the structures of the foot and ankle.

Our Process to Deliver Accuracy (What to Expect)
Patients will undergo an initial evaluation with a designated therapist to ascertain the root causes of their concerns. This includes a computerized gait analysis, with optional foam casting, to accurately assess walking patterns. Following the assessment, a detailed review of the findings and personalized recommendations will be provided.
Payment for the orthotics is required by the client, and a prescription must be obtained for insurance reimbursement purposes. Optionally, we do have a referring doctor onsite if you do not have a family physician. Necessary documentation will be supplied to facilitate the claim submission to your insurance provider, if eligible.
A fitting appointment will be scheduled within one to three weeks to ensure proper sizing and customization of the orthotics. Additionally, a complimentary follow-up session is offered three weeks post-fitting to verify that the fit remains optimal and to make any necessary adjustments.
